In 2010, he helped to connect testing, inspection, and certification services provider Cotecna Global with a local Saudi company, leading to the formation of joint venture Cotecna Saudi.
His project portfolio includes securing an exclusive logistics contract in 2009 with Sallyport to transport the US military from Manas, in Kyrgyzstan, to American bases across the region.
In 2008, as a consultant for QCELL, he and a partner linked Gambian firm QuantumNet with Indian investor UFlex, kickstarting the first 3G GSM telecom company in Banjul, the capital city of Gambia.
In 2007, he played a pivotal role in the signing of an exclusive contract with Gamtel, the national telecom company of Gambia, to terminate international voice traffic to the country.
Al-Hammad is a member of the Asharqia Chamber’s business council, contributing to the business community’s development with his experience and insights. In addition, he is a mentor in several startups.
He gained a master’s degree in international business from Indiana University in the US.
